We had a great time at Ava's birthday party. It was a Mickey Mouse picnic and it was a great day... Meeska Mooska Mickey Mouse !!

Home Safe

Well you all were right! It was so fun and so empowering to get out on the road and get myself and kiddos 400+ miles on my own. We made in 7 hours (hoover dam construction a pain) and had a blast in St. George.

Me my two sisters, one brother-in-law, our parents and all 7 grand kids. The kids had the best time out of anyone, all their cousins and lots of outdoor play in the beautiful weather. The kids are so close in age it makes it easy and fun for everyone to get along. Parker the oldest at 11, Chase 6, Colin 4, Shea 3, Ailsynn 2, Ava 1, and new baby Lucas 1 month. My mom loves that in July her grand kids count down. 11,6,5,4,3,2,new. (pressure on me to add one before end of 2009.)

We got to visit my sisters restaurant that my talented hubby painted for them.(Yup that's right the bricks, pipes, rust stains, cracks, and windows are all painted by hand by Kevin).

The kids loved the food. Ava is a walking advertisement for them. It was really fun to eat talk and just enjoy being there together.

And to end our trip here's a lil ditty from Shea who made this song up while feeding the ducks by her Aunt Trisha house...."I love ducks, they eat my cereal... Ava's scared of the big boose (goose), but she's ok let's feed the ducks to day day day... Oh mom I stepped in duck poop! Yuck!"

Girls Road Trip

I've packed the bags I've packed the truck, so now we are off on a trip to Saint George UT. Yea I get to see my family and have a few days off of work. Everyone wish me luck though cause I'm driving it all by my self with my two beautiful but wild girls strapped down in the back seat for 7 hours. I'm feeling brave so send well wishes this way! Also if you see my husband still working in the garage at 2am every night, please tell go to bed your wife said so. Talked to you all soon I'm off......

New Room New Girl

Wow we found a fix and it cost us was not new decor in Shea's room. We asked Shea what would make her feel like a big girl and sleep in her room again. She told us that she wanted stuff on the walls to keep her safe from the door.

While at the Disney store last Saturday inspiration struck! BIG wall stickers to change Shea's room in to "Enchanted" (Shea's favorite movie in a long time). Now she wants to be called princess Shea-Giselle, because she sleeps under a Giselle canopy and under a Giselle blanket.

The wall decals are sooooo cool! I love whoever invented those! You can take them down re-stick them and use them again in a new room. Change a whole look of a room in less than an hour! We are sleeping and so is she.
