Healing time well spent

While I've been healing....We are getting some great family time.

We turned our family room into a movie theater and had a slumber party! So much fun the girls didn't go to sleep until midnight.

I've been getting tons of snuggle time with Dean and the girls love to kiss me and help me get things so I don't have to go up and down stairs or lift anything bigger than Dean.

This healing time has been hard for me I love doing and going and having my house clean and cooking and contributing by working... however this has made me slow down and really appreciate all the love and help I have in my life. It's amazing being able to hold and sleep with my new baby and look no guilt! :)

Worth the work... He's here

Dean Cooper Ryan
born May 21, 2009
@ 10:07pm
6 pounds 11 ounces
19 inches long
So he came into this world his own way! On Thursday we went to the hospital to be induced they did an ultrasound and he was head down ready to come. So they started the induction about 8 hours in I was having contractions every minute they came in to check and thought he had his hand on top of his head (for worry that he would dislocate his shoulder during delivery they called in the obstetrician) The Dr. did another ultrasound.... it was not his head and hand... it was his feet, he flipped during labor. The boy was breach! They stopped the labor drugs cause we were headed to the O.R. in about 2 hours to have him c-section. About a half hour later my water broke, and then I was having contractions 30 seconds apart.... RUSH to c-section. He came at 10:07pm with his corn wrapped around his neck 3 times. After unravelling him from his cord we got to hold our baby boy for a minute.

He sure is cute and sure was worth it. It was a blessing he flipped himself cause we might have lost him with his cord wrapped around his neck. Thank our Heavenly Father for us tonight he's here safe and sound and healthy!

For those of you who have had a c-section I'm sorry I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy! I can't get myself up stairs or lift my baby up he always has to be handed to me. I hope to feel better soon, but no driving for 2 weeks and not much else for 8 weeks.

SOOOOOOOO EXCITED!

I'm SOOOO Excited look how good Jacob looks! YEAH! Go Team Jacob!!!

I know I said I wouldn't post until I had pictures of Dean but I don't get induced until tomorrow and I'm sitting here on the computer counting the hours. I watched an E! news clip that said they have everyone signed on to film the 4th and final Movie "Breaking Dawn". "New Moon" is almost done filing and releases in November this year!.... and they expect to finish filming "Eclipse" in October of this year!

Here's the Deal...

I have a heart condition called SVT. It has something to do with the electric setup of my heart. They had to cardio-vert (stop my heart) me when I was 13 weeks pregnant. Since then they have kept a close eye on me and lil man.
When my contraction started at 35 weeks they couldn't do anything to stop the contractions (or I might have a SVT attack and have to be cardio-verted again) but, they have been giving me pain relievers to give me lots of drugged induced sleep.

After a recent Ultrasound of the baby they decided to push my due date to June 1st. Another concern they are facing is I had my girls at 36 weeks and they weighed 5lbs 12oz. Yes small but I still had a very hard time getting them out (tearing ect).

Now that we have the contractions under control, and I'm so close to 38 weeks... they are finally going to induce me on Thursday (HALLELUJAH)!

They are hoping we have not waited too long and my tiny frame will be able to deliver him naturally.
Right now the guess is he's six and a half pounds (hope he wont split me in two)

There's the update... I'll post again when he's here with pics of his lil face. (yeah!)

The final strech

I've been contracting since Monday 4/27... about every 20 minutes nothing to get our hopes up over... but when it just keeps going everyday... now its Friday 5/1 and they are 5 minutes a part but not making much progress. I'm in major pain today and hope upon hope will be able to have my beautiful little boy in my arms soon. On Monday 4/27 when I went to the Dr I wore super cute jeans, fancy top, cute shoes, and matching jewelry (I like looking nice).... Later this week in the middle of contractions about 7-10 minutes apart i gave up. My hair was not done (it was clean) i wore sweats (yes i know) and no make up. For many of you who know me. You know even with the girls I went to hospital in labor with full make up and a cute outfit. This boy is slowly taking my self assurance and self esteem away.
I'm SOOOOOOOOOOO Done!!
