Total Crap

Ok so excuse me but this weather really is total crap. I know most of you will say how lucky I am to not be melting in AZ, however I loved summer in AZ and miss the sun and swimming and being a golden color.... But not here in Colorado.
For almost the whole month of July it has rained and been cool everyday, too cool to do any summer activities. Last night at 630p we went to Kevin's softball game and had to bundle up because is was 50 degrees and raining on and off with a cold breeze (aka sideways mist hitting you in the face).
I can not believe I had to dress Dean in a hat coat and think blanket. Like I said total crap.... July here sucks!

(ok sorry for the rant but that's all I've been thinking about this summer... how badly I wish we were back in AZ soaking in the sun and heat and chlorinated water.)

Faces Through Time

I loved the post my friend Rennie did and had to do "copy" her idea... and I think all of you should try it too.

She posted pictures of her kids taken every July over the last 4 years..... to see the changes is amazing... so here are my girls over the last 4 years.

5

My sweet baby girl is 5 today! It's so crazy to even think about meeting her for the fist time after 37 hours of labor 5 years ago. Her beautiful black eyes and hair.. her tiny little mouth and tiny little frame. Now she's just as beautiful... long brown hair and black eyes... and those sweet loving hugs she gives me every day.
She loves to snuggle, loves movies, and is so compassionate towards all animals.
Happy Birthday Shea!

9 years

I remember it like it was yesterday, the day I met Kevin I knew we would be best friends. Only 19 and so ready to be his wife for ever. This picture brings back so many memories of young love ready to grow.
Today Kevin and I celebrate 9 wonderful years of marriage that all started with a commitment of love that has never faltered.

Kevin, thank you for loving me unconditionally. Thank you for making me laugh everyday I've known you, and thank you for being my husband for the last 9 years. Can't wait to spend 50 more together.

Love eternally,

Angie

The Brighter Side of Life

What a difference a week makes in the life of a mother...

This weekend I got to hang out with my husband from Saturday afternoon all the way to Monday morning. Saturday night we ordered the UFC fight witch I was sooooo excited for and we had a blast watching Henderson knock Bisping OUT! Then on Sunday we layed around and did nothing but hang as a family all day.

Yesterday I got all the kiddos and myself ready and took them to meet grandma for a movie. It was a ton of fun and after the movie my mom said "dang sweetheart you are getting super skinny" that's major coming from my tiny mother.

I have worn the same size pants since I met Kevin, an 11/12.... now I can hardly keep them up, for the 1st time in 11 years I might have to buy a smaller pair of jeans... crazy right?

After getting home from the movie I was laying on the floor with Dean talking to him and for an hour he cooed and smiled and almost laughed! It had to be the sweetest thing I've seen in a while. It made my heart swell. He is also sleeping more... about 11pm to 5am and then 530am to 930am. The girls still sleep til 9am so I'm getting good rest.

Today we are going to go swimming I'm so excited to get some sun and be silly with my kids at the pool.

Life is feeling good again it's amazing.... to top it all off.... Kevin keeps telling Dean he has a hot momma, the girls keep telling me how fun I am and that I'm the "funniest best friend" (they can see the difference and like it). The best thing is I feel different and I am me again, the me many of you became friends with. Having all these blessings is awesome, 3 healthy kids, an amazing husband, and my family smiling again. (not walking on eggshells).

Thank you too all of you for your amazing comments and support in my time of need. You are great friends and I feel blessed to have you all in my life. Here's me sending you and big hug and smile of appreciation!
Love,
Angie

Finally fun in the SUN

After a whole month of rain, thunderstorms, and tornado warnings we are finally getting some sun shine and temperatures closer to 85 degrees. The clouds still seem to roll in after 3pm but it makes for nice cool nights. On one of the days we got a little sun we RAN to the local pool and caught so rays.
