I need to be sprung from this cold H#!!

SPRING HAS NOT SPRUNG......in my neck of the woods.

I am going crazy here in this bitter cold. I have also made an observation. People who are native Coloradoans (who haven't left to live in AZ for 8 years) ARE NUTZ!

This weekend while me and my family where out and about to eat and running errands...we all had hats and coats on, shuttering at the bone aching wind that hit you every time a door opened. Not however those nut case Coloradoans who where out and about in tee-va's, shorts (on men) and lil dresses (on women)......Did I mention that same day we woke up to 1inch of snow on the ground? oh I didn't? Well did I mention the high was 31 degrees? Oh I didn't?

Fancy that! I live in a town full of dumb a$$'$

So for now we are just praying for sun and spring and a high above 50...that's not asking for much right? I mean is it selfish to ask for a high enough temp to melt the snow in our yard that's been there since Halloween?

APPARENTLY SO CUZ HERE'S OUR FORECAST..

(mind you this is the Denver forecast...fort Collins is always a few degrees cooler)

WOW What a great day....

1. jeans, t-shirt, no make up, hair not did (still told I'm the most beautiful woman in the world)

2. amazing Denver omelet and breakfast with family

3. home made candle and note "i love you because you read me stories"

4. hour and a half nap

5. read 2 chapters in my book

6. popcorn red vines and all my valentines next to me at the movies

7. homemade dinner around our family table

8. tiny cupcakes in red white and pink

9. snuggles on the couch with my biggest valentine

What I'm reading

So about 5 years ago I read a trilogy by Nora Roberts about strong women who learn through their difficulties they have powers. I loved these books and passed them on to my mother and sisters. Right now I'm reading another trilogy by Nora about 3 men with powers who meet their equals in three strong, beautiful women. I'm sharing this because I spend 30 mins a night reading and it's my time to use an adult mind now I'm writing my thoughts down for my adult audience.

Right now I'm in the 2nd book and have enjoyed many things........

-one of the male characters has a coca-cola addiction much like my Dr. Pepper addiction (although in his case it is accompanied by slim jims...a rebellion from very granola parents)

-one of the female characters is so beautiful and has amazing hair but the thing I love most about her description is she is not a tiny woman she is a REAL woman (size12) but they can't stop talking about her beauty.

Look Mom the World is White

Waking up on Sunday morning to a lot of white stuff falling

Yes more snow...the only thing that makes it worth it.....the excitement Dean had watching it.

There is no excitement from me because today (Monday) the snow is still falling school is not canceled and I am working tonight til 11pm and need to drive myself home tonight Yuck and Scary!

Yes that's what the girls call their little brother when he wears his hat sideways....can you believe he's 8 months!

Having a Hard Go At it......

Although this is a family blog for a little while I will be blogging about me, family stuff will be shoved in there here and there.
About 95% of the time I am a very happy lady but since moving to Colorado I've been having a hard go of making friends, being happy in my work or being happy as momma. I know I know now don't get this wrong this is not woe is me. I just figure if there's anywhere for me to get this out than why not here....
After moving to AZ I had great friends fast...adding more and more friends with every city we moved to. Now that we've been in Colorado well over a year and although there are people at work I enjoy and people from Kevin's work I enjoy I have not found any great friends and it's hard for me to get going in the morning knowing there's no one that might just stop by or call for lunch.
Now I'm going to jump off my pity wagon and tell anyone who likes to read my blog that I'm taking suggestions.......I am going to blog everyday about something so should it be "why did they do that?" or "music in my life" or "my work out and weight loss count down to 10 year anniversary" or "the book I'm reading"!
Let me know ya'll so I can have a little purpose and reason to do something for myself everyday

Lots of Stuff going on

Well Here I am typing from my brand new computer purchased at walmart after deputing the charges with best buy. This time we have gone with a desk top and HP...a name I hope we can trust!

TODAY'S Post...

We now have a child old enough to be loosing her teeth

Although I do believe that she would have been able to keep her teeth a bit longer if she had not decided it would be cool to bite that wall......yes I said bite the wall. Now I don't know if this was a test to see how strong her teeth where (clearly not super strong) or if Charlie and the Chocolate Factory really has that much influence on kids.

However it did knock it loose and fell out a few days later only to reveal her ADULT tooth coming in! Wow right? She has big teeth on there way in already.
